In the DANCE THEMES 2 video we explore dance through a series of varied dances. Dances are based on aspects of modern life style and culture. From street conflict, to lazy summer days, from abstraction of shape to Japanese influenced movement. DANCE THEMES 2 is choreographed with dance elements that are instantly accessible to secondary students. Many of the dances also contain partner work and group designated moves.
The video features five fully choreographed creative dances. Each piece is presented in its entirety by the dancers to music and then by one dancer, in easy to learn and manage phrases. The music used in this video is from the CD Nitrocine.
